What is GEOME?
Geome (GEOgraphical Military Environment) is a collaborative free software project to build a reusable 3D battlefield framework. It will provide a basis for future free and commercial game development projects, primarily first person action/strategy games. Once the framework is sufficiently developed (about 2 years?), we will proceed to make a game or a few based on it. Development of example game materials will begin sooner.
